Hiya! I’m Stephanie, you might see me around as Ste but please feel free to call me Steph. Like some others, I was an aspiring creator when I was little! I ended up going to art school, working with toys, games, anime, comics, books and was surrounded by incredibly talented artists and writers. From there I found out that what I really loved was encouraging people and shining a light on them! That’s why I’m really happy to be able to support all kinds of creators ranging from those that are taking their first steps, to helping those that are just looking to find a new home for their story. I’m passionate about finding the best fit for creators on their journey and hope to continue that focus!

Heyo! I’m Marcy but you may see me around as ExperimentalMadness. I’m a writer, a TTRPG creative, and what I like to call a professional nerd. I’ve spent most of my career working in publishing and with other writers helping them craft their stories and advocating for their work. I’m passionate about sci fi/fantasy and my not-so-guilty pleasure is a good romance. Now, with Tapas, I get to work directly with some of the most talented writers. My focus is on finding the best ways for our authors’ stories to succeed on our platform and making sure they find the best home here.

Hey all, I’m Meg! I’m an acquiring editor here at Tapas, ready to champion you and your work. As a writer myself, editing is of my favorite things. There’s something special about taking an already great, fun story to the next level. At Tapas, I hope to help all of our creators achieve the next level they want to reach and that we can continue to grow together. I love stories that not only take a character on a wild adventure—full of angst and maybe some romance—but on an emotional one as well. Let’s create some awesome stories together!

Maxine
Ahoy-hoy! I’m Maxine and I’m part of the Tapas Novels acquisition team...which tracks because I’ve been a novel reading nerd [affectionate] my whole life. After many years in journalism (with a pitstop in media relations), I got my MFA in Popular Fiction Writing and Publishing and then dove head first into a publishing career. A stint at a literary agency helped pave the way for me to join the Tapas team, where I have the opportunity to read incredibly entertaining and delightfully creative novels all day long. (Living the dream!) Few things bring me more joy than finding great stories and authors out in the wild, and hooking them up with a new, passionate fanbase here at Tapas.
